Did a little research into the meaning of a wreath and learnt that it symbolises eternity and the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. If you like the symbolism but don't want to cut your hands on sharp Holly leaves this is how you make a wreath from craft supplies.
What you need:
cardboard
coloured tissue paper
sellotape
shiny paper
Glitter
Cut a ring shape from the cardboard to make the frame for your wreath. Wrap green tissue paper (you can use different shades) around the ring making sure you can't see the cardboard anymore, sellotape down on the back side of the wreath. Decorate with bows made of tissue paper, scrunch red tissue paper to make Holly berries, use shiny green paper to make Holly leaves and add glitter if you wish. This wreath should be put up inside, if it gets wet it will not be pretty.
